I have found out why my cams did not work before and gave error messages instead. To help other with similar problems, I have explained my solution below. It appears I have solved my camera problems. I appreciate and thank you for your response and hope for more.

What is weird however is that my new user name and password worked just fine making and then saving changes inside either SADP or iVms-4200. When I tried to look at the cam in web browser, using Microsoft Edge, it did not accept the credentials. Is it the cam or is it the program? It also did not say whether or not the the camera itself needed 'admin' to work properly. On the other hand, there was no explanation as to what the user name and password belongs to. The password had to be a 'STRONG' password.
Thanks for trying, but the first thing I had to do to save new settings when in 'SADP' tool was to set a new user name and password. You should be able to set your own password after that. Keep holding the reset button for 30 seconds. The reset process should be pretty simple: press and hold the reset button on the back, then plug the camera to power it on. Some cameras came with already set admin passwords, and you will need to be reset them to set a new password. When you first connect to the camera, it should ask you to set a new password for the admin user. The default passwords should be 12345 or 123456789abc. Some people have complained about their DS2CD2032F from amazon not having the default password out of the box. It should not be related to your PC setup. The problem is most likely related to the credentials you are using to connect to the cameras. I also want to be able to have a 64 camera view running on the PC permanently for the security officer.Just moved to Florida last year(2015), bought 2 DS2CD2032F I cams from amazon, built a new 64 bit Win 10 computer i7 16meg 3 ssd drives. I understand that the access via my smartphone will be constrained by the service provider on the phone etc. I imagine that if I then did 32 cameras it will be quite terrible.Īm I correct in assuming that the problem is therefore with the PC ?Īlso, my concern is that I need to eventually run all 3 DVRs (64 cameras) on the PC and I am going to want to be doing remote accessing via a smartphone. When I do the 16 camera view it is still manageable, but there is definitely a deterioration. I am struggling to customise the view and so therefore can only go as far as a 16 camera view at this point.

the more cameras I add in, the slower the software responds. As I add more cameras into the playback there is a noticeable difference in the functionality of the software i.e. Then I do a playback on 1 single analogue camera and the software seems to perform much better.

I have gone and connected only the 32ch 720p DVR directly to the PC.
